Fire sprinklers are always ‘on the call fire attendants’ that sprinkle water forcefully over the flames when there is fire. It is a network of piping installed behind walls and ceilings filled with water under pressure. The sprinkler activates when the air temperature rises and moves up due to fire. The sprinkler only that is nearest to the fire activates and sprays water with pressure limiting the fire and tries to bring it under control. Small fires at homes, hotels, schools and stores can be contained even before the arrival of the fire department on the scene. One thing to remember is that the sprinkler activates only in case of a fire and not when there is smoke.
